Hotel Cortezo Madrid, Madrid

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very spacious and modern, but some areas needed refurbishing, and the small size made it a bit inconvenient. The service was a bit inconsistent, with some staff being very helpful and friendly, while others were not as welcoming. The location was excellent, right in the middle of Madrid, offering easy access to various attractions. The dining options were decent, with good choices available, although some felt there could have been more variety. Overall, a stay with its ups and downs.

The hotel had big enough rooms with comfy beds and really nice staff. However, my room faced the West which made temperature control a nightmare with ineffective air conditioning units. Additionally, my room faced a wall, restricting any outside view, and the paint was peeling off the walls. The room felt cramped for three people, not what we expected.
